Foam Board
The board I use to make my fabric pictures is foam board.
This is a light mount board made from polystyrene sandwiched between sheets of hot pressed paper. It is usually used for exhibition production, presentations and model making.
Foam board is incredibly strong considering how light it is. The thickness of the board I use is 10 mm
One side is covered with a neutral colour paper : ideal as a back ground paper for Fabric pictures,
the other side is self adhesive.
